About the Gators Baseball

GATORS BASEBALL  - HIGH SCHOOL / COLLEGE DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM

"It is our mission to create an environment for young athletes to achieve their dreams of playing collegiate and possibly the next level.. We also believe that thru the game of baseball we can help, re-enforce character and determination that will be an asset to our players "not only for the game, but for life.

We practice: Servant leadership, it is a leadership philosophy in which the main goal of the leader is to serve. This is different from traditional leadership where the leader's main focus is the thriving of their company or organizations. A Servant Leader shares power, puts the needs of the coaches/players first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. Servant leadership inverts the norm, which puts the program service associates as a main priority. Instead of the people working to serve the leader, the leader exists to serve the people.

As stated by its founder, Robert K. Greenleaf, a Servant Leader should be focused on, "Do those served grow as persons? Do they, while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants?"  When leaders shift their mindset and serve first, they benefit as well as their players in that their players acquire personal growth, while the organization grows as well due to the players growing commitment and engagement. Since this leadership style came about, a number of different organizations have adopted this style as their way of leadership. According to a 2002 study done by Sen Sendjaya and James C Sarros, Servant Leadership is being practiced in some of the top-ranking companies, and these companies are highly ranked because of their leadership style and following.

   Program Benefits:

Field Level

We utilize Field Level (free service with a premium option) to help promote our players in two ways:

1) Players create profiles that can then be found when college coaches search for players;

2) College coaches post recruiting needs that we then connect our players to.

Twitter

Our club utilizes Twitter as a way to showcase highlights and positive recognition of our players. In addition, we use it to communicate with coaches directly via DM and tag colleges of player interest when posting content. This ensures that college coaches see the content the player wants them to see.

Established in 1996-Gators Baseball is a nonprofit Tax Exempt Organization, under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We have also been classified as a charitable organization.

The Gators organization, and coaches will provide players the opportunity to participate in the highest level of competition, at local, statewide and national tournaments.

Our main focus is to give players/families the best baseball development/experience possible, at an affordable cost. We would never want a talented player to get passed by, because of finincial limitations.

Players are provided with numerous opportunities, to appear before college coaches, and major league scouts.

Players, are also provided with the opportunity, to be part of a well-established, and well-respected baseball organization, that is locally, and nationally recognized in the  baseball community.

Over the past 25 years, our coaches, have developed relationships, with many college coaches, and professional scouting networks, within Texas, and the nation.

Gators Baseball, will provide experienced coaches to instruct players.  Coaches, will never sacrifice a player's future health for a win.

The Gators organization is not only committed to developing a player's physical talent but to helping them develop emotionally and mentally.

Experience with Gators Baseball, will possibly prepare a player with the skills and maturity needed to perform at the post high school level.

We are looking for players who have the same dreams and aspirations as our past players. We are looking for a player who has a sense of history, and who wants to be a part of a special program. You will be playing with great players, against great players, gaining exposure at all levels. You will have a coaching staff that will work hard to help you reach your maximun potential.

As a true, High School Development / College Devlopment Program, CDP. It is our mission to develop our players to the next level and higher.

Many players and families approach, select baseball for the wrong reasons. Looking for, a STATUS/NAME only, they are looking for an easy way to succeed.

THERE IS NOT AN EASY WAY

We are looking for players who have the physical ability, mental fortitude, and HEAD / HEART, to play at the Next Level, and willing to develop and reach that GOAL.

We are looking for players that will be committed to us as we are to them.

Gators Baseball Timeline:
#1 question, your not from Florida, WHY the Gators?

The Gator is a formiable opponent, in ANY situation, either on  offense "the teeth" or defense "the tail".

The swamp is his habitat, much like a baseball field. In 1996, several young men, from Kennedale, "our first team" choose the name, it has stuck.
